Buzz - page 5

And here's the last one of the story.

Usually, I'm unable to judge my own work as soon as I finish (most of the times I hate it SO MUCH), but for now Im glad that it seems to be clear enough to follow the story without the lettering.

Buzz - page 4

Aaaand another one. Same as before, inks, lots of splatter effects (probably too much) and Photoshopped halftones.

Only another one to go.

Buzz - page 1

Here's the first unlettered finished page for the project I'm currently inking.

It's a short horror story by Steve Tanner called "Buzz" and boy, it is fun.

A couple of prelims from a fun little project I'm doing right now.

Pencils on Bristol. Marker to test out some first shading and help me visualize some effects at this stage.

Some morning sketches for a character of an upcoming personal project. I like having actors or other pop culture icons to make "cameos" in my comics. The inspiration for this nameless creepy guy should be obvious...

I'm probably getting involved in a couple of new projects, so hopefully I'll have more stuff to post up here soon..

Aborted strip

Page 1 from the original aborted strip for which the first version of this blog was created.. Looking at it right now, I hate most of it but I'm happy with some little things.

BONUS: model sheet for one of its characters. She changed a bit too.
